Nice Buns' founder, Sara Lapell, comes from a long line of home-bakers and food-lovers. Her passion and knowledge have been honed by working in schools and summer camps, on farms and in bakeries. She studied baking formally at George Brown College before baking bread with some of Toronto's top boulangers.

Nice Buns cultivates scrumptious, slow-grown breads using organically grown flours and wild-caught yeasts.
The Goods are produced and served at a lovely food joint called 'the Depanneur'. Handcrafted loaves are served and sold at a growing number of restaurants, stores and markets. Bread can be ordered online through Fresh City Farms with their organic food box delivery.
The latest, greatest, gluten-free sourdough has been a hit at markets! Going forward, this bread will be introduced to more restaurants, retailers and new market locations. New recipes are in development too.
